Scott specialises in providing advice on agency and development matters to a wide variety of clients from private individuals and trusts through to property funds, institutions, companies and statutory authorities.  He advises both owners and occupiers across the property sectors including office, industrial, retail and educational.  Scott lives in Oxfordshire, is married and has four children and most of his spare time (if any!) is spent ferrying them to various destinations across the county.  He is now a keen sports watcher rather than player.  He is a governor to two schools within the county.

Michael is based at our Mayfair office, who specialises in providing commercial property advice to clients seeking office accommodation throughout central London.  He also represents London based tenants in relation to lease renewal and rent review negotiations.  Michael acts for a number of  'blue chip' organisations including, for example, English Heritage, Rank Group Plc, Rentokil Initial Plc, Qantas Airways, Fiat Auto and Alfa Romeo.  When not advising clients on office relocations, Michael spends his spare time climbing mountains in the United Kingdom and abroad and has recently climbed a 6,500 m peak in the Nepalese Himalayas.  His ambition is to one day climb one of the most iconic Alpine mountains – Switzerland’s Matterhorn.

Charles is based in the Oxford and Mayfair offices.  He specialises in maximising returns for property investors, through the active management of portfolios and individual properties across the South of England and in London.  In his spare time, Charles enjoys keeping fit and is a keen skier.  He is also a governor of a local school.  Charles is a life member of National Trust and The Wine Society, and resolutely follows the fortunes of Preston North End.

Nick Taylor is a chartered town planner and development surveyor with over 25 years experience, gained across the residential, commercial, retail and industrial sectors for corporate, institutional and private landowners and developers. He has worked at CBRE and Drivers Jonas Deloitte.

His professional experience is in three main sectors – Strategic Land / Projects, Retail / Mixed-Use and Central London. Strategic Projects / Land involves the promotion of land for commercial and residential development for landowners and developers. Retail / Mixed-Use schemes are a blend of edge of centre and town centre mixed-use schemes with foodstores and other uses, often residential. This sector includes regeneration and waterside schemes. Central London focuses on projects from Canary Wharf to Hammersmith and Camden down to Wandsworth, Southwark and Lambeth.

When he isn’t working, Nick can be found playing golf (increasingly badly) and spending time re-stocking and emptying his wine cellar to indulge his passion for wine.

Ben is a chartered town planner with over 16 years experience, gained across private practice in the spheres of residential, commercial, retail and industrial sectors. Ben’s professional experience is focused in three main sectors – New Settlements / Urban Extensions, Town Centres / Mixed-Use and Industrial / Distribution.

Ben works for a range of private and corporate landowners and manages consultant teams on the promotion of strategic projects across the south and midlands. He is experienced in preparing development plan representations and appearing at Examinations in Public for Core Strategies and Local Plans as well as managing the planning application and appeal processes.

Prior to joining Carter Jonas, Ben worked at David Lock Associates and most recently Drivers Jonas Deloitte. Outside of work, Ben sings tenor in a choir, performing concerts across London and abroad whenever the opportunity arises.

Patrick is the Managing Director of Sutton Griffin Architects.  He advises corporate clients throughout the UK on retail, commercial and mixed use developments and has been responsible for the design of a number of major cultural projects including the much acclaimed Baitul Futuh Mosque in London, the largest Mosque in Western Europe.  His specific expertise is in evaluating opportunities and maximizing site values through planning 'sensitive' designs.  Patrick is a Fellow of the RSA and is keenly interested in the arts and when he has the time (and not playing golf) enjoys sketching and painting.

Richard is a partner and heads the firm’s Valuation Team. He acts for private clients, companies, solicitors, charities, housing associations and banks in property matters mainly relating to residential and development property from flats to large country estates and development land in central southern England.  He prepares valuation and survey reports and has particular experience in acting as an expert witness in litigation matters and has given evidence in court and at the lands tribunal on several occasions. His experience also includes advising on restrictive covenants and leasehold extension and enfranchisement.  Richard is a keen cyclist and enjoys the countryside.

He has worked on some of the country's largest transport infrastructure projects and has a significant experience in promoting and executing complex land assembly projects and acquisitions. Peter is a keen fisherman and spends much of his spare time fruitlessly trying to lead his four daughters away from the shops and towards the river.

Jeremy is a Chartered Surveyor with over 18 years experience in the property industry. He is based in the Mayfair office and is responsible for the asset management of commercial portfolios on behalf of a number of landlord clients. He specialises in analysing portfolios, preparing strategic asset business plans and identifying and achieving added value through active management initiatives such as lease restructuring, change of use, refurbishment and development.

Typically, Jeremy is retained by clients to act as an external asset manager, providing support and access to the full range of services throughout Carter Jonas’ regional network. In this way, clients can be reassured that their portfolios are being benchmarked, managed effectively and structured to ensure outperformance.

Jeremy also sources and appraises investment opportunities for clients and works closely with his agency colleagues during the due diligence process to agree and implement asset management strategies going forward.

In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys running and triathlon events, and is rumoured to be in preparation for his first London Marathon.

Rebecca is an experienced urban designer and leads the masterplanning team at Carter Jonas. With over eight years' experience, Rebecca brings a strong foundation of professional and academic knowledge to her work.

Rebecca has undertaken a wide range of professional work for both the public and private sector. She is familiar with both the challenges of greenfield development and complex regeneration sites, as well as being well-versed in the sustainable development agenda. She has been involved in a number of large sustainable masterplans, innovative urban regeneration schemes and extensive stakeholder and community engagement. Alongside her role as an urban designer, Rebecca is a documentary photographer.
