Ian is a Partner, based in Northampton, advising private clients in the acquisition, sale and marketing of large country houses and small holdings together with period and individual residential properties in Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas.  He also advises on the marketing and sale of new homes.  Outside of work, Ian enjoys golf, skiing and is a passionate supporter of the Le Mans 24 hour LMP and GT racing series.

Catherine is Head of Research at Carter Jonas and is based in London and Northampton. The primary focus of her team is to produce published reports focusing on the firm’s commercial, rural and residential divisions. In addition, her time is currently directed towards the more specialist areas of the firm including the technology and energy sectors. Catherine has three young daughters and is a farmer’s daughter from the Welsh borders. Her long-term ambition is to own a farm and live the “good life” existence.

Michael advises landowners and developers on the acquisition and disposal of greenfield and brownfield development land for both immediate use and as part of a longer term strategic land bank.  He project manages consultants and development teams to assist in securing delivery of strategic sites including landowner agreements and third party land ownership issues.  Michael is married with three teenage children and his interests include whatever the children are up to as well as travel and most sports in particular rugby and swimming.  Michael regularly participates in long distance open water swimming events.

Zoe specialises in the sale and marketing of new homes developments dealing with developments across the range, from individual one-off homes to larger schemes by national developers.  With much time taken up visiting a variety of places and spending time with friends, Zoë’s spare recreational time is spent supporting her local rugby team which is coincidentally also sponsored by Carter Jonas, Cambridge – thus making full use of all networking opportunities!  However, the need for new sporting challenges is on the horizon such as learning to play golf and running.

Ross is an Associate based in the Northampton office and specialises in all rural agency matters. Ross also advises institutional and private clients on all Landlord and Tenant matters, sales and purchases, valuations, planning and development, and compulsory purchase. Away from work Ross enjoys competing in triathlons during the summer, and country pursuits when time permits.

Tom undertakes management work on a portfolio of Estates in Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire as well as professional consultancy work including Single Payment Scheme, valuation, landlord and tenant advice and property acquisition and disposal. Tom took a masters degree in Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester and is a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. Before joining Carter Jonas in 2010 he worked in Banbury, Oxfordshire for a firm of Sporting Land Agents, and operators of the shooting accessory and clothing retailer, William Powell.

Andrew is a Residential Development Surveyor and works across the Eastern and Central Regions. He specialises in residential development land and in particular; land acquisition and disposal, development feasibility, land valuation and market research. Andrew acts for private clients, developers, blue-chip companies and institutional clients by project managing the development process from viability assessment though to due diligence and handover. Out of work, he enjoys cycling, supporting his beloved football club and is an enthusiastic fan of motor sport.
