Cambridge Commercial acquires space for Viridian Solar

The Commercial Team in Cambridge has acted on behalf of Viridian Solar in acquiring 24,055 sq ft of brand new production and office space at Papworth Business Park in a move which proves that investment opportunities are viable and worth pursuing in the current economic climate.

Viridian Solar, a key player in the emerging UK renewables market, has purchased the building known as ‘Atlas’ at Papworth Business Park. Atlas, which is the smaller of two speculatively constructed units on the Park gives Viridian Solar ownership of brand new facilities for research, development and production purposes.

Duncan Quig commented: “What is also obvious with the conclusion of this deal is that acquisition opportunities which allow investors and businesses to move forward are still happening when each party’s criteria are fulfilled - as is always the case, no matter where we are in the economic cycle”.
