Acting on Behalf of Oxford Fertility Unit Limited (OFU) the Oxford office has recently acquired Building 8000, a 22,134 sq ft office at Goodman’s 88 acre Oxford Business Park to house a specialist facility for OFU’s research and clinical teams.Scott Harkness of the Oxford office was instructed to source suitable opportunities for OFU and we were able to undertake a thorough search of the locality using our detailed knowledge and local relationships to secure valuable information.

On identification of the preferred option, we negotiated competitive terms and assisted with legal negotiations leading up to conclusion. Enda McVeigh from OFU commented: ‘Securing this high quality building to locate the new Institute of Reproductive Science is a very exciting development for us. These new premises will provide a state of the art workplace for our research and clinical teams as well as superb teaching facility for our postgraduate students’.

Scott specialises in providing advice on agency and development matters to a wide variety of clients from private individuals and trusts through to property funds, institutions, companies and statutory authorities.  He advises both owners and occupiers across the property sectors including office, industrial, retail and educational.  Scott lives in Oxfordshire, is married and has four children and most of his spare time (if any!) is spent ferrying them to various destinations across the county.  He is now a keen sports watcher rather than player.  He is a governor to two schools within the county.
