Architecture & Building Consultancy overview
Party Wall Awards
If building works affect a wall or floor dividing properties, the Party Wall Act 1996 requires that notice must be given to neighbours for such things as underpinning, altering wall heights and inserting a damp course. This can be a complex area, but the Act holds no difficulties for Carter Jonas – our experts will help you through all its permutations. We’ll also negotiate access agreements with the neighbours and help to settle boundary disputes.
Our clients include property owners needing to serve notice and owners on whom notices have been served – everyone from private individuals to large companies, charities and building societies.
