Head Office Relocation For London-Based Fashion Retailer
The project was to relocate fashion retailer, Hackett Limited’s, UK and European headquarters from Vauxhall, South West London to a larger office located along the South Bank of the Thames.
Carter Jonas’ instructions were to identify and negotiate the acquisition of leasehold, air conditioned, office accommodation capable of accommodating up to 100 staff on no more than two floors on the basis that the chosen property must convey an image appropriate to a fashion retailer/designer, i.e. with an emphasis on ‘character’ buildings, including warehouse conversions.
Following a comprehensive search by the London Office Relocation Team, terms were subsequently negotiated and agreed to take a lease on refurbished, air conditioned office accommodation at “The Clove Building”, Maguire Street, SE1 - a former turn of the last century warehouse building that had been converted into air conditioned office accommodation.
“We were impressed with the commitment and level of service provided by Carter Jonas.”
