Service Charges
Carter Jonas’ commercial property management team advises landlords and tenants on their rights and obligations regarding the service charges set out in their commercial lease.
These charges arise where a landlord provides services, such as maintaining the property and common areas of a building. Such charges can lead to disputes between landlords and tenants, and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has issued a code of practice on service charges in commercial property to encourage best practice.

Outside work, when time allows Duncan can be found on the water involved in sailing, hacking his way around the golf course or trying to stem the process of older age by playing football with mixed success.
