We are looking to appoint our first Apprentice Surveyor to join our Infrastructure team in Birmingham and are targeting school leavers completing their secondary education in summer 2019.  This will be a varied and interesting role providing high quality training opportunities and delivering key support to the Infrastructures team engaged on a wide range of projects.   We expect the successful candidate to work towards a RICS recognised degree qualification via distance learning from an accredited RICS School.

Our clients include major infrastructure and regeneration providers such as Network Rail, HS2 and National Grid and we are working on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK.

MAIN TASKS AND SKILLS:

  • Report      writing
  • Site      inspections and Records of Condition
  • Negotiation      and engagement with stakeholders
  • Client      interaction and provision of strategic advice

You should show commitment and determination and be keen to learn.  You should have good A level results; however we are more interested in your personality and ambition and your genuine interest in the subject.

You will be asked to write a covering letter which should include academic achievements and any work experience.  We also ask you to include details about your motivations and interest in a career in surveying as well as any extracurricular activities.
