Associate Partner - Corporate Real Estate
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
Day to day management of mixed property advisory activities including:
- Reporting on disposal properties (including development sites)
- Leading and managing disposals including lettings and sales
- Managing acquisitions including reporting of availability and negotiation
- Assisting and preparing board reports for sanction of property transactions
- Business development networking with industrial agents and developers
- Pro-actively participate in the management and development of a strong team
- Strategically work with other departments to develop new fee opportunities (cross selling) and to maintain consistency and efficiency
- Secure new instructions from existing and new clients
- Assist the team Partners with presentations to win new business and handling larger instructions requiring team working
- Increase the profile of the Carter Jonas Commercial Division
This job description is not exhaustive and the jobholder may be required to undertake additional relevant duties from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the team. There will be travel involved around mostly the UK; some around Europe and occasionally US to help develop our client and network affiliations.
WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
The successful candidate will be confident, technically competent, numerate and have excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Significant experience of managing a similar portfolio and client management. You will ideally have 3 years post qualified experience (minimum) and a good working knowledge of relevant legislation, adhere to the RICS Rules of Conduct or relevant professional body where appropriate, have experience of delivering and managing multiple projects, be competent with MS Office and hold a full UK driving licence.
