Client Accounts Assistant

We are looking for someone with accounts experience to join our corporate management account team (CMT) based in Birmingham. The post holder will provide essential support to the team to ensure the proper management of the rent collections and expenditure processes relating to the property management carried out by Carter Jonas on behalf of our corporate clients. Additionally, the post holder will help to ensure the delivery of the highest level of service to internal and external stakeholder.

  • Assisting with the daily receipt processing and payment routines
  • Inputting supplier invoices
  • Processing deposit return forms
  • Demand and collection of other income
  • Carrying out all administrative and ad hoc duties in connection with the role.
  • Ensuring systems are updated on a timely and accurate basis to enable other departments within the organisation to manage effectively.
  • Supporting other members of the client accounting team and providing cover in periods of absence of other team members

This job description is not exhaustive, and the jobholder may be required to undertake additional relevant duties from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the office and assisting the Office Head and management team as reasonably required.



If you are an ambitious and effective individual with an eye for numbers and detail, we want to hear from you. You will have sound interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate accounts issues to non-accounting people. You will have gained prior experience in a similar and a good understanding of IT systems including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
