The Digital Marketing Manager will take ownership of the creation, management and execution of the digital content strategy, attraction and development of new audiences and deepening engagement with existing audiences by helping to facilitate the creation of content about our brand and service offering. Analysing and reviewing existing content, identifying gaps and overlaps. Ensure content is accurate, timely, high-quality, based on insight, relevant to our audience, easily understood, SEO optimised and in our tone of voice. Working with other writers, copy editors, proof-readers, picture editors, designers and developers in the team to produce great content. Contribute to a constantly evolving editorial strategy for reaching new and diverse audiences.

Where appropriate the chosen Digital Marketing Manager will be expected to upload content to the website via the CMS and other digital channels and work directly on digital campaign delivery. They will also help to build and maintain our social media presence, assisting to help preserve the integrity of the Carter Jonas brand on social channels. 

The Digital Marketing Manager will work as a key member of the Digital Marketing team and help ensure the regular publication and delivery of high-quality content. They will attract and develop new audiences and deepen engagement with existing audiences by helping to facilitate the creation of content about our brand and service offering.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, have excellent oral and written communication skills, with first-hand experience of working in a content-led organisation such as a media company, digital agency or have worked in a commercial environment where content is highly valued. Knowledge of SEO best practice and an understanding of Google Analytics is required. Understanding of UX and SiteCore 8.2 would be desirable.  The role will include some project management, therefore an understanding and formalised approach to project management is advantageous.
