We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced valuations partner to join our Commercial team based in Birmingham. The successful candidate will play a key role in the ongoing growth of the commercial valuations business in the Midlands and developing a significant client base and sustainable team that is rooted in the values of our partnership.

  • Work within the existing valuation team in Birmingham, providing valuations for loan security (vacant possession and investment), internal decision-making purposes, tax, and financial reporting purposes.
  • Manage the commercial valuations team in Birmingham.
  • Contribute to the growth of the business by identifying new business opportunities across the commercial valuation sector.
  • Take on responsibility for client management for several key clients
  • Assist in the delivery of major projects.
  • Financial and client reporting.
  • Delivery of valuation reports in accordance with client instructions and RICS Valuation Standards.
  • Participation in the ongoing development and implementation of an effective profit centre business plan developed in-line with the Carter Jonas vision.
  • Support and help the growth of expertise and skills in the team particular

As a Valuations Partner you will hold a RICS qualification with 5 plus years PQE in valuations and you will be a RICS registered valuer. The chosen candidate will have the ability to identify and develop new business streams, with a successful track record in developing relationships with existing and potential clients.

You will be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable ability to manage and deliver multiple projects. Fully computer literate with a thorough understanding of MS Office programmes including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ideally you will have experience in ARGUS Cap Val/Enterprise and Developer/Kel investment valuer and good geographical knowledge of Birmingham and the regional area
