We are seeking a Valuations Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join our Rural team in Taunton to be responsible for valuations and delivering professional across the South West Region to an existing client base. This is an exciting opportunity for a Rural surveyor to take on responsibility for a range of clients and deliver high levels of service and develop new business opportunities. This engaging and varied role will include valuation of rural property including farms, estates, and residential property, to working strategically in identifying and developing viable fee earning opportunities and cross sell other services within the business. We are invested in the natural capital space and as a rural department we are actively targeting instructions in the valuation, advisory and sale of natural capital.
WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
As the Rural Valuations Surveyor, you will need to be a chartered surveyor with experience within rural surveying . You will need to be able to display a strong knowledge of valuation work and experience of rural landlord and tenant matters, although, we are open to receiving applications from all levels of experience As you will be required to deal with a variety of different clients, you will need to be a personable individual who can build rapport and create long terms relationships. You must be motivated by a fast-paced environment, flexible in your approach and be a supportive and collaborative team member who is prepared to participate in managing and developing other team members. FAAV qualification is desirable, but not essential.
