We are recruiting a varied role for a Chartered Surveyor, to work within the existing Commercial team in Cambridge with a focus on helping grow the Commercial Property & Asset Management business. We are seeking someone with the desire to build client relations and manage an existing portfolio to help deliver the required client service and to help grow the team. The role will involve dealing with rent reviews, lease renewals and re-gears plus other activities within your portfolio. Identifying and implementing asset management opportunities, reporting directly to clients on a regular and timely basis. Liaison with tenants and contractors, collection of rents and other monies due, including chasing of arrears. You will be liaising with the Commercial Client accounting to help deliver a first class client service. Preparation of service charge budgets and issue of certificates and additional invoices following service charge reconciliation. You will also be responsible for administration of property insurance including apportionment of premiums, raising and issue of invoices and completing property inspections schedules.
WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
The chosen candidate will have a good working knowledge of L&T Act 1954, L&T Cov. Act 1995 or other appropriate legislation, you will have experience in organising repair and maintenance work, including liaising with tenants and contractors. Previous use of the TRAMPS property management and accounting system would be an advantage.
You will be a chartered surveyor with a minimum of 2 years PQE, you will have strong communication skills, have attention to detail, be a great problem solver and have drive and motivation to succeed.
