We are seeking proactive and motivated chartered surveyors from newly qualified to partner level, who are registered valuers to assist the Commercial Cambridge Valuation team in providing a range of valuations for clients primarily in Cambridge and East Anglia areas. The role is a great opportunity to work with an expanding team in providing advice to a diverse range of clients on a wide range of properties. There is also the opportunity to provide support and guidance to the junior members of the team. We are open to levels and experience; it is about finding the right talent to help grow the valuations team further. We offer flexible working arrangements and will consider part-time for the roles.
As a Valuations Surveyor or Partner the role will involve inspecting and measuring properties (where appropriate) writing reports, discussing and justifying values with clients. Clients are wide ranging and include Banks, Private investors and Local Authorities. The role is not sector based so the role will involve valuing many different use classes including offices, retail, industrial giving the successful candidate some great exposure and variety in their work.
WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
The successful candidate will be confident, technically competent, numerate and have excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Experience in Business Development and be keen to undertake Client Development initiatives, ideally with commercial valuation experience and must be a RICS Registered Valuer (VRS). The candidate will also have good working knowledge of relevant legislation, London market, adhere to the RICS Rules of Conduct or relevant professional body where appropriate, have experience of delivering and managing multiple projects, be competent with MS Office. Be proficient in the use of Argus Enterprise. Knowledge of Excel and cash flows would be an advantage but not essential. The surveyor will have a clean driving licence and be willing to travel primarily in the Cambridgeshire area
