How Do I Apply For Funding Under The Small Grant Scheme?

The application process is quick and easy, and you apply online. You’ll need to provide some information about yourself and your farming business, and then select what equipment you’d like funding towards.

You do not need to provide quotes, as the grant offers a fixed price per item. If you choose to purchase a higher-specification product, you will still only receive the fixed price.

Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will receive a Grant Funding Agreement (GFA). At this stage, you can then place your order(s). Note that equipment purchased must be brand new (not ex-demonstrator) and must be purchased after receiving your GFA.

Equipment must be delivered by mid-March. Once received and paid for, you can submit a single claim for the grantof the fixed price of all your items.

IS THIS THE LAST CHANCE TO APPLY FOR THE COUNTRYSIDE PRODUCTIVITY SMALL GRANT SCHEME?

This is the final round of the CPSG. DEFRA has said that there will be other forms of grant available next year, but we do not yet know what the process and eligibility will be for this.

You can find out more about the CPSG on the gov.uk website.
