Carter Jonas were appointed by UK Payments Administration to assist them with the relocation of their client from the Ground Floor to the First Floor of the same building in Tower Bridge. Carter Jonas advised the client on the dilapidations of the Ground Floor, the acquisition of the First Floor and managed the successful delivery of the refurbishment.
The floor selected for the new office was provided as CAT A space and a CAT B fit out of the premises was required. Carter Jonas managed the procurement process which was awarded to Open Workspace on a Design and Build basis. Carter Jonas oversaw a detailed design and stakeholder engagement process led by Open Workspace and reviewed costs to ensure the client was obtaining best value from the contractor.
The project involved a shift in the company’s culture to move two companies from separate floors onto the same floor. The design for each company needed to incorporate the individual branding and create an 'outside in' feel. The project was successfully managed to achieve completion on time and within budget.
