London, 3 December 2013, Carter Jonas has appointed Tim Shaw as partner to lead the London Development team to provide both private and public clients with development expertise, in particular with a focus on redevelopment of publicly owned land and assets.

Tim joins from Lambert Smith Hampton where he worked for three years, and prior to that King Sturge. Tim has been advising Westminster City Council on its major development opportunities, including the much sought after Moxon Street car park, Marylebone, and PMB Holding’s multi million pound development of Berwick Street, Soho. He has also been advising on the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham’s recently announced joint venture with development manager Stanhope to regenerate its major residential opportunities.

James Bainbridge, partner, head of planning and development at Carter Jonas said: “We are building our London Development team to complete our national offering, alongside our exceptionally strong planning and development teams in our regional hubs of Oxford, Cambridge, and Leeds, and have been busy recruiting to replicate these in London. Tim will be working with Nick Taylor, partner, head of planning, who joined us from Drivers Jonas Deloitte early last year to continue to drive forward our London planning and development business.”

Tim can be contacted on 0207 5183221 and via email.
