London 3 May, 2012, The Carter Jonas Energy Team is celebrating a 100 per cent success rate for the year to date for its Feed-In Tariff wind turbine applications. The company has successfully obtained planning permission for six schemes in just eight weeks and recently secured consent for three 67m to blade tip wind turbines in Selby and North Lincolnshire.
Since July 2011 Carter Jonas has secured planning consent for over 25 Feed In Tariff (FiT) wind turbines throughout the UK, with a total installed FiT capacity of 4MW.
The Carter Jonas Energy Team has a proven track record in renewable energy projects and obtaining permission for FiT wind turbines of varying scales, ranging from 6kW turbines to 500kW turbines.
Amy Souter, Senior Environmental Planning Specialist at Carter Jonas comments, “At a time when planning consent is becoming increasingly difficult to secure, these success rates demonstrate the benefit of specialist planning and project management advice throughout the process. We are delighted that by creating green energy the long term viability of local businesses and security of supply has been ensured.”
