17 October 2014, National property consultancy Carter Jonas is delighted to announce that it has become a Foundation Partner for the property industry charity, LandAid (www.landaid.org).

In line with its CSR Strategy, Carter Jonas has committed to supporting this charity which works to improve the lives of children and young people in the UK who are disadvantaged due to their economic or social circumstances.

The charity provides projects and initiatives to help these vulnerable people using funds generously raised by contributors within the property industry, and also utilises their professional expertise.

Mark Granger, chief executive, Carter Jonas, said: “Contributing to the communities within which we work is integral to our operation as a leading, national property consultancy. We are therefore very proud to be supporting LandAid. This move very much falls in line with our existing support of Pathways to Property, a national initiative which aims to encourage greater diversity in the surveying profession.”

“Our people are motivated to support the company’s involvement with LandAid and to dedicate their time and resources to contribute to the fundraising initiatives of the charity.”

A Carter Jonas team recently took part in the TowerAthlon LandAid’s most recent fundraising event, which involved a 539ft abseil down London’s Broadgate Tower. The team was one of many from other leading property companies to undertake this challenge, and collectively over £30,000 was raised for LandAid.

Carter Jonas looks forward to continuing its support of LandAid.
