The site is mainly level and slopes up to the rear where you can take advantage of the sea view over Torbay. The site is idea for a lodge development, yurts or a glamping site and a planning application was made in November 2015 (Planning Ref: P/2015/1092) to Torbay District Council for the erection of 15 lodges which was withdrawn in February 2016.

The majority of the surveys that were required for the planning application have been undertaken but are now out of date which led to the withdrawal of
the application.

A further scheme has been drawn up for the development of 25 lodges on the site and due to its prime location at Berry Head, we would expect good levels of demand for the units if a lodge developer was looking to sell them off individually or to run them as a holiday letting business.
