Carter Jonas prepared and managed the submission of the financial viability assessment on behalf of the applicant Esteban Investments Ltd (Bristol Sport) which included the development appraisal of the Sporting Quarter scheme and the linked Longmoor residential scheme of 510 homes. 

The Ashton Gate Sporting Quarter secured a resolution to grant planning permission from Bristol City Council at its planning committee on 5th October 2022. The scheme includes a new sports and convention centre (4,000 seats), hotel, offices, 125 residential apartments, retail and gym uses, club museum and a multi-storey car park. 

Carter Jonas negotiated zero affordable housing at Ashton Gate, although the enabling development at Longmoor scheme of 510 dwellings is set to deliver a policy compliant 30% affordable housing.
