Investors in People (IIP) has awarded national property consultancy, Carter Jonas, We Invest in People, gold accreditation.

Investors in People is an international organisation encouraging businesses to value their people above all else. Only 17% of IIP accredited organisations achieve gold, a status Carter Jonas first attained in 2016. The accreditation recognises that a business not only has the right people strategies in place but that everyone at all levels within it, is invested in making them come to life.

Carter Jonas’ most recent assessment took place in May. Key findings from the audit recognised that policies are in place to drive continuous improvement, with interviewees consistently praising what they described to be a family culture and that leaders embodied the core values of being approachable, effective and ambitious.  Among other highlights, the assessment noted the enthusiasm for and commitment to engaging in EDI initiatives - a key component of Carter Jonas’ overall growth strategy – with clear targets set to measure progress.

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said:

“We’d like to congratulate Carter Jonas. Gold accreditation on We Invest in People is a fantastic effort for any organisation, and places Carter Jonas in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”

Commenting on the award, Mark Granger, Chief Executive of Carter Jonas said:

“The engagement and development of our people within a supportive culture underpins our business values and goals, which is why it is so important for us to have retained our gold accreditation whilst continually striving to do more to develop and improve.

“As a multi-disciplinary property partnership, we have many talented people with a range of expertise, working across many different business areas. Because of this, I feel especially encouraged that Carter Jonas has been recognised for our inclusive, approachable, and people-first approach where everybody feels connected, valued and part of a wider team. This achievement is only made possible thanks to the passion and energy of our people, and I feel incredibly proud of all we have accomplished.”
