In recent months, Carter Jonas has enhanced its Infrastructure and Energy team across the UK with eleven new appointments, including two Associate Partners.

Seven new team members are based out of Carter Jonas’s Leeds office at Bond Court.

She has more than ten years of experience in the energy industry, with particular expertise in small to medium-scale onshore wind and energy brokerage. At Carter Jonas, she will continue to offer specialist advice on these matters, as well as energy procurement, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and manage contract portfolios for clients.

Mark Redfern, Fenton Forrest-Parkinson and Ben Illingworth have also joined the office as Infrastructure and Energy graduate surveyors with Owen Collins and Amelia Redshaw joining as assistant surveyors on placement contracts. As part of their training to become qualified surveyors, all will operate in urban and rural property environments. With comprehensive guidance and support, they will have active roles assisting a range of clients, including Network Rail, HS2, National Grid, local authorities, water companies, and telecoms providers, as well as homeowners, farmers, agribusinesses, and small and multinational commercial businesses.

Additionally, Carter Jonas has welcomed four new people to its Warrington office. Vicki Dean joins as an Associate Partner from CBRE Manchester with more than a decade of experience managing property and asset portfolios of various sizes and compositions for private and public sector clients. Having also held roles at Strutt & Parker and Acland Bracewell Surveyors, she has overseen numerous client contracts in the commercial and rural sectors, providing estate strategy advice to help maximise assets through the identification and implementation of diversification and development opportunities.

Sam Dean has joined as an Associate Surveyor with more than 15 years utilities experience across multiple disciplines in private practice and in-house, as the senior wayleave officer at Cityfibre. He joins from WSP where he helped to progress the Transpennine Rail Upgrade scheme, undertaking the acquisition of land and rights to accommodate the works. At Carter Jonas, his responsibilities will include land referencing, preparation and agreement of new wayleave agreements, negotiating access routes and access to development works, landowner engagement and valuation, negotiation and settlement of land compensation claims.

Natalie Tamila and James Pritchard have also joined the team. James is embarking on the firm’s graduate training programme, having recently graduated from Sheffield Hallam University.
