Ralph is a Partner, based in Shrewsbury, who advises mainly private clients in mid and North Wales as well as in Shropshire on a range of rural property matters especially those relating to landlord and tenant, settlements and capital taxation. He is instrumental in energising traditional estates and their redevelopment as thriving rural enterprises.  Ralph is a keen field sportsman and takes enormous pleasure from days following hounds and rough shooting, his great delight is in seeing his children becoming more able at both.

Paul is a Partner in the Minerals and Waste Management Division and provides specialist advice throughout the UK on all matters relating to minerals and waste management developments. In particular, he offers advice on strategic development appraisal, site acquisition and disposal, planning and valuation on behalf of both operators / manufacturers and private landowning clients. He sits on the CBI Minerals Group and both the British Ceramic Confederation Rating panel and land and property group, representing clients interests and assisting in lobbying on policy affecting the sector. In his spare time, Paul enjoys long distance and hill walking, and recently led a Carter Jonas team on a 40 mile trek across the North Yorkshire Moors for charity. To relax, he enjoys watching Lancashire County Cricket Club, where he is a member.

Andrew is an Associate, based in Shrewsbury and specialises in estate management for private and corporate clients, including providing advice on landlord and tenant matters, diversification, estate re-organisation, development, rent reviews, agricultural and residential lettings and sales.  Andrew brings a fresh approach to rural asset management, from establishing successful farm diversification schemes to converting redundant nuclear bunkers!  Andrew is part of our graduate training team, is a licenced APC Assessor and sits on the RICS Rural Professional Board. Outside of work he is a Senior Officer within St John Ambulance and a qualified Emergency Ambulance Attendant.

Paul is an Associate and chartered minerals surveyor/chartered environmentalist specialising in the valuation of mineral and waste management assets, negotiation and management of leases and licences, resource appraisal, acquisitions and disposals of property interests and advising on general planning issues. Whilst based in Shrewsbury, Paul operates throughout the entire UK and has extensive experience of acting on behalf of both private and corporate clients in respect of minerals and waste matters.  Outside of work, Paul indulges himself through a passion for music. In addition to having played the electric guitar for over 15 years, he has recently realised a life long passion having learned to play the drums. To compliment his playing aspirations, Paul is also enrolled as a student of music production and technology.

Caroline is a qualified chartered accountant having joined the firm from a regional firm of Chartered Accountants where she was employed as an auditor.  Caroline is responsible for managing private clients’ accounts held by Carter Jonas.  As part of this function she prepares annual estate accounts for submission to the clients’ tax advisors, prepares monthly management accounts and undertakes all aspects of cash management.  Outside of work, Caroline enjoy tennis, running, snowboarding and any other outdoor activity as well as cooking and gardening.

Jane is a Chartered Town Planner based in the Shrewsbury Office.  She has been involved in planning for nearly 20 years and has experience in a wide range of planning matters particularly in relation to minerals and waste development and provides advice of planning issues relating to development proposals and planning policy.  Jane lives near Chester and has a wide range of interests but very little time to follow them since taking on a house 'in need of improvement'.

Rob is head of the mapping department in our Shrewsbury office. He provides mapping and advice for Carter Jonas and our clients. He originally trained as a furniture designer, so enjoys knocking out the odd chair and fixing things around the house.
