The land is part of the Castle Combe Estate and predominantly comprises a combination of permanent pasture and mature woodland. The land has been farmed organically and registered as organic with the Soil Association since 1989. In recent years the land has been utilised for the grazing of livestock and mowing for forage. It has also historically be included within a Higher Level Stewardship agreement, although this has recently expired. The land includes 2.24 acres (0.91 ha) of grassland and 6.06 acres (2.45 ha) of woodland. The land benefits from access directly off the A420. There is a natural water source available.
