The land is part of the Castle Combe Estate and predominantly comprises a combination of permanent pasture and mature woodland. The land has been farmed organically and registered as organic with the Soil Association since 1989. In recent years the land has been utilised for the grazing of livestock and mowing for forage. It has also historically be included within a Higher Level Stewardship agreement, although this has recently expired. The land extends in total to 25 acres (10.12 ha) which includes a grassland paddock and 12.94 acres (5.24 ha) of adjoining woodland. The land benefits from mains water and is accessed via a right of way over neighbouring garden land. There is a mains water connection to the land.
