Carter Jonas, on behalf of EcoWorld London, has obtained a resolution to grant planning permission from the London Borough of Hounslow’s Planning Committee for the redevelopment of Brentford Football Club’s former football stadium at Griffin Park.

The scheme, when complete, will deliver a mix of 149 high-quality and sustainable residential homes, including a mix of apartments and houses, together with a large community park at the centre of the site. The development will promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle, with an enhancement to pedestrian and cycle permeability, providing access into the site from all four sides.

The development forms part of a wider major regeneration project across this site and the site at Kew Bridge to the east, which has had the ultimate objective of funding the construction of Brentford Football Club’s new stadium.

Carter Jonas was responsible for leading on a planning strategy to secure the delivery of the site, including a detailed programme of pre-application engagement, working closely with the London Borough of Hounslow throughout, and guiding the planning application to submission and thereon to planning committee.

Construction on the new scheme is expected to commence in 2026.
