Over 23,000 delegates attended the property industry’s largest annual four day conference this year, and among them were Carter Jonas representatives. Our attendees were testament to the fact that the overall sentiment in the industry is extremely positive, with a number of large deals being announced, alongside some further positive indicators.
Carter Jonas held a number of events throughout the week, playing host to companies including AVIVA, M&G, Buccleuth, U+l, Coutts Bank, Metro Bank, MEPC and a number of local authorities. Tim Shaw, Head of Central London Development, also launched our latest research piece on the London stand where we were exhibiting in support of the London Borough of Hounslow.
A noticeable shifting factor was that there was a large UK presence this year, which for the first time included UK Trade and Investment, promoting the property sector to overseas investors in an attempt to build confidence post-referendum.
Cycle to Cannes
Once again Carter Jonas were delighted to take part in Cycle to Cannes, with Partner Adam Harman joining the 200 cyclists who managed to raise a significant amount for a good cause. Having ridden over 1,000km from London to Cannes, Adam was welcomed by the Carter Jonas team and allowed an evening to recover before beginning an action packed week.
