The largest refurbishment of pre-let office space in Harrogate has been completed at Jesmond House in Harrogate.

The £1,000,000 refurbishment of Jesmond House has created 14,000 sq ft of modern office space over three floors providing open plan accommodation with contemporary facilities.

Funded by the property’s owners A.R.Briggs, the project was overseen by John Webster and Paul Beckett at national property consultants Carter Jonas’ Leeds Office. A range of local experts worked on the renovation including builders Houseman & Falshaw, Crowther Turnbull Booth as project consultants and Seven Architecture.

Paul Beckett of Carter Jonas said: “This is the largest refurbishment project for many years on pre-let office space in Harrogate and has been great seeing the final elements of the project come together and work alongside North Yorkshire County Council to give them what they need to keep providing the service the Harrogate community needs.”

County Councillor John Watson, Executive Member for Corporate Services, said: “We’re delighted with the new look offices which provide practical and stylish solutions for all of North Yorkshire County Council’s needs. By improving the layout of office space, the refurbishment has enabled the authority to reduce the number of older, less suitable buildings in the Harrogate area and make savings.”
