London, 20 November 2012, National property consultancy Carter Jonas has appointed two masterplanners from LDA Design in London, Rebecca Sanders and John Phillipps, who together have nearly 40 years experience, to join its national Planning and Development team.

Rebecca will lead the masterplanning team at Carter Jonas and John will act as a consultant to it. Rebecca joins as an associate and John Phillipps was formerly a partner at LDA Design.

James Bainbridge, head of Planning and Development at Carter Jonas comments, “We are delighted by the appointment of John and Rebecca, which provides us with a national masterplanning and urban design capability offering a full range of services supporting all of our four Planning & Development teams, as well as supporting our minerals and sustainability teams. Few national agencies are able to present such a full-service offering to clients and we are confident that their industry expertise will complement our expanding Planning & Development teams and give us an edge over our competitors.”

Their appointment is in line with the firm’s national strategy to expand its Planning and Development division on a national basis, and follows the recent opening of the firm’s Berkeley Square office to complement the Planning & Development teams in Oxford, Cambridge and Harrogate.
