Our mixed use & new settlement services draw on considerable experience in developing comprehensive proposals for new towns, villages and urban extensions.
Whether for mixed use settlements, residential neighbourhoods or other types of use, our team has worked on some of the largest sites in the country. Creating a masterplan for a large-scale site involves a large number of players and collating and synthesising a wide range of inputs, followed by a process of creating a compelling, overriding vision for a new place.
We have worked on a diverse range of sites across the country including the Manchester northern “gateway”; land on the west side of the town of Crawley (west of Ifield); and the Sir John Moore Barracks outside Winchester. We strongly believe that the creation of a new community, or indeed a large extension to an existing settlement, must carefully respond to the existing context and provide a sustainable environment for all to live, work and play.
