Alison has over 25 years experience in the property industry and specialises in industrial agency with a focus on advising corporate, regional and local property owning and occupying clients on investment, acquisitions, sales, lettings and design and build industrial projects. Alison has a particular knowledge and understanding of the south west industrial markets along both the M4 & M5 corridors including East Hampshire, Swindon, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and the Somerset regions. Accordingly she has been instrumental in a number of significant industrial transactions in these areas.
Following a reorganisation of their warehouse arrangements, UK bathroom supplier Roper Rhodes released two modern high-spec units to the market in one of Bath’s prime employment areas.
Units 2 and 3 on The Maltings Industrial Estate in Brassmill, located two miles west of Bath city centre, together offered almost 15,000 sq ft of prime commercial space.
Carter Jonas recognised the potential for more trade counters to join the well-established Tool Station at The Maltings Industrial Estate and proactively identified Topps Tiles and Edmundson Electrical.
Carter Jonas successfully negotiated an assignment of Unit 2 to Topps Tiles and arranged the surrender and re-grant of a new lease to Edmundson’s Electrical.
Roper Rhodes are delighted with the outcome as they have now been released from their lease obligations. Topps Tiles now have a presence in Bath and Edmundson Electrical are able to expand their Bath-based operation.
