Wroxton Priory Technical Due Diligence

Wroxton, Oxfordshire

Wroxton Priory, a substantial Jacobean Grade I listed country house incorporates parts of a 13th Century Augustinian Priory, and resides within the grounds of the 18th Century, Grade II* listed parkland.

Acting for acquiring clients, the TDD survey required a large team of surveyors, quickly assembled from our Heritage Building Consultancy team based in Oxford. Working with our Geographic Information Systems (GIS) team and a Mechanical and Electrical consultant, provided a RICS Level 3 Technical Due Diligence Survey of all the listed buildings and structures on the site. The Heritage Building Consultancy team was led by a RICS Accredited Historic Building Surveyor to provide a unique insight into the historical significance of the buildings.

The GIS team were commissioned to undertake a height verification survey to check whether the building was in the high risk category under the Building Safety Act and undertook a comprehensive drone survey of the roof and high level features.

The survey inspections were completed inside 2 days. Our initial executive summary and final report were prepared and issued within ten working days of our inspection to ensure our acquiring clients were able to maintain their acquisition programme for the purchase of the property.
