Owned and managed by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust as a nature reserve since 2021, the site offers a range of habitats including Other Neutral Grassland, Mixed Shrub, Non Priority Ponds and Broad Leaved Woodland. With the intention to retain and improve the existing habitat, Investment in this scheme will facilitate the long-term enhancement of habitat for a range of species. The Cornwall Wildlife Trust purchased additional land in 2019 adjacent to the central reserve. Purchasing units from this site will facilitate future expansion of the reserve. PURCHASING STRUCTURES Units can be purchased via two routes: • Unconditional Outright Sale • Conditional Contract UNIT AVAILABILITY & INTEGRITY The Lanvean Bottoms site is secured via a Conservation Covenant with the Land Trust, and is now registered on the National Gain Sites Register with the biodiversity gain site number: BGS-230126003 The site is managed and owned by The Cornwall Wildlife Trust who were founded in 1962 and currently manage over 5,500 acres for nature conservation. The Cornwall Wildlife Trust offers a collaborative approach to conservation and within the trust has access to industry leading ecologists. The extensive Wildlife Trust network ensures that the site will be managed to the highest standard with objectives to maximise environmental and social gains.
