Katy is a chartered planning and development surveyor with extensive experience working with private sector clients across London and the South East. Katy joined Planning Perspectives in 2002 before moving across to Carter Jonas with the rest of the team at the end of 2014. Katy advises on various forms of development but is particularly proficient advising on major residentially-led, mixed-use developments.  Her work ranges from providing quick pre-acquisition advice through to managing complex project teams through the planning process and beyond to implementation.  A significant proportion of her work involves adding value to redundant employment sites through complex Section 106 negotiations, transforming such sites into exciting new destinations.

The London Borough of Hounslow Planning Committee recently resolved to grant planning permission for the redevelopment of the site known as New Road Triangle, Feltham.

Our London planning professionals acted on behalf of the applicants, a joint venture between Hounslow’s Development Company, Lampton 360 and EcoWorld London, and were responsible for the preparation and submission of the planning application for the regeneration of this underutilised brownfield site. The proposed development will deliver 176 new homes, of which 50% will be affordable, within a development up to 14 storeys tall and provide high quality landscaping and amenity space in this highly sustainable location.

PB July 21 - Case Study Two - Feltham

We led discussions with the planning department at the Council and the Greater London Authority prior to, and following, the submission of the planning application. Following the decision of the planning committee, work is now underway to finalise the legal agreement for the site, and our professionals continue to liaise with the Greater London Authority in advance of the body issuing their Stage 2 report.
