Carter Jonas has secured 12,000 sq ft of office space on the eighth floor of Two Snowhill, Birmingham, in a move that creates a permanent base for the firm in the city.

Carter Jonas first launched in Birmingham in 2016, with flexible accommodation at Two Snowhill, to provide on the ground support to several flagship infrastructure clients. Since this time, Carter Jonas has significantly enhanced its presence in the region and adopted new service lines to meet demand from a growing list of private, public and third sector clients including; Highways England, Maintel Europe Ltd, Peel Group, National Trust, Hanson UK, Homes England, Scope, Dana Inc., Haulotte UK, Handelsbanken and Birmingham City Council.

The office will accommodate Carter Jonas's growing team delivering specialist services across infrastructure, compulsory purchase, valuation, geospatial, minerals and waste, energy, planning, development, commercial agency and professional services, land assembly, building consultancy and contract management. The Birmingham team is set to relocate in the coming weeks.

Christian Green, Partner, Carter Jonas Birmingham, said: "This new office is the culmination of four years hard work and investment by our business. We opened in Birmingham with just 12 people, but it was a catalyst moment from which we have developed into an established and sustainable hub office, providing a full-service consultancy working across all property sectors with more than 80 people in our team. Collectively, we have worked to capitalise on the wealth of opportunities in what is the UK's second-largest city.

"So much has, and continues to be done, to boost the city's robust economic environment and entrepreneurial spirit. Investment in infrastructure, transportation, and regeneration projects, such as Paradise Circus, has helped to propel Birmingham's status on a global scale. The city's success as a hub of innovation is a great motivator and we look forward to developing our business further, bringing together core skills, innovative technology and solutions to support this diverse market."

Mark Granger, Chief Executive, Carter Jonas said: "Our move to a more permanent home at Two Snowhill represents the next stage in the growth of our Midlands business, and demonstrates the resilience and success of our broad-based strategy, supported by our dedicated team. Opening in the city nearly four years ago marked a pivotal moment in our expansion, enabling us to pursue additional national mandates and helping to transform our approach to client contracts.

"Two Snowhill is a prestigious address in the heart of the city's commercial district and we are extremely pleased to establish a firm base here. As a business, we are fortunate to be continuing with our planned investment in this area, given the exceptional challenges presented this year. This office provides a strong platform from which we can review the many opportunities that will present themselves in the coming months."
