Overview

Our Land Referencing & Mapping team provides integrated land, GIS and statutory mapping services to support infrastructure, regeneration and development projects across the UK.

Working across Development Consent Orders (DCO), Transport and Works Act Orders (TWAO), Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPO), utilities and major infrastructure schemes, we combine technical mapping expertise with detailed land referencing knowledge to deliver accurate, auditable and efficient project solutions.

Our Land Referencing Services

Book of Reference preparation

Preparation and management of compliant Books of Reference for DCO, TWAO and CPO projects, including identification of ownership, occupation and affected interests.

Land ownership identification and diligent enquiry

Comprehensive desktop and contact referencing exercises using HM Land Registry, Registers of Scotland, local authority searches, tracing tools, stakeholder engagement and field verification to identify all parties with an interest in affected land.

Statutory plans and mapping

Production of Land Plans, Works Plans, Crown Land Plans, Special Category Land Plans, Access Plans, Notice Plans and other statutory documents required to support infrastructure consents and land acquisition.
