A Carter Jonas team member is currently working as part of the project team enabling the interconnector link between Belgium and UK.

Carter Jonas is currently working as part of the project team enabling the interconnector link between Belgium and UK. Within the small delivery team, the role requires the team member to be responsible for ensuring all consents, permits, and agreements were obtained to allow the development to proceed on time and budget.

Initially this was for UK onshore works only but the role expanded to cover UK and French terrestrial waters.

The team member was responsible for managing consultants and advising contractors on their responsibilities whilst also building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders with competing interests and agendas.

The project is valued at around £500m.
