Arthur provides advice to numerous private and corporate clients on a variety of professional matters, particularly issues around access and rights over land.  He also sells farms, farmland and Estates as well as advising on the Basic Payment Scheme to numerous farming clients across Wiltshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire

In between work on behalf of various private clients, Arthur also spends much of the working day on behalf of Network Rail assisting with their access requirements to the rail infrastructure across Wales.

Instructed to sell Tucks Farm our Rural team were tasked with preparing the farm for sale prior to an extensive marketing campaign.

The preparation required our team to assist the clients with a wide range of issues on the farm, including management of farm staff and arranging the clearance of the farm, including dispersal of all farm machinery and equipment, along with arrangements concerning the house contents. The farmhouse was prepared for marketing, including the arrangement of furniture and household items. Temporary arrangements were put in place for the management of the grassland and buildings following the sale of all livestock.

Tucks Farm was then marketed with the benefit of a professionally produced brochure, including aerial photography, showing the farm at it’s best. This resulted in competitive bidding and lead to a request for best offers from interested purchasers. The sale of the farm completed within 6 months of commencement of marketing for a sale price in excess of the guide price.
