Our experts were instructed to identify a suitable developer partner and negotiate terms for an Option Agreement with Taylor Wimpey in 2015.
Taylor Wimpey pursued promotion of the site through the planning process, securing a draft allocation in Harrogate Borough Council’s Local Plan and subsequently achieved reserved matters approval for planning permission for 184 houses four years later.
The site sold in late 2019, following extensive negotiations as to market value, which involved our professionals seeking the independent opinion of consulting engineers and quantity surveyors to validate costs associated with the project.
