Our team of professionals have wide expertise in early years, primary and high school design, creating concepts that optimise the environment for both academic achievement and social edification. We follow guidelines and regulations to ensure schools remain safe and functional, whilst creating modern educational spaces. We design our spaces to inspire students, support new technology and to be adaptable to encourage diverse forms of teaching and learning.

Through every part of the design process, we employ environmental sustainability and occupancy wellbeing principles to create a healthy building that lowers consumption of resources and produces less waste.

At Carter Jonas, we understand the importance of designing an interior environment for every healthcare facility that enhances the health and wellbeing of customers and staff alike. Our interiors team focuses on creating spaces that are modern, warm, and welcoming whilst meeting the complex needs of the customers.

As well as your brand identity, the architectural style of the building and its geographical location are considered throughout the design process to create bespoke solutions. Our designs for the healthcare sector are built on accessibility, and include planning for ambulant disabled and wheelchair users, using colour contrast for the visually impaired and bespoke designs for residents with dementia and other special needs.

We work alongside engineers, acousticians, and fire consultants to ensure the building is fit for purpose and safe.

We work alongside our historic building consultancy professionals, to deliver refurbishment projects, respecting the buildings’ character, special architectural features and highlighting areas of historic interest, whilst upgrading the building for modern use.

Our team of experts produce plans, elevations, details, and 3D renderings to achieve listed building consent, as well as producing technical drawings for construction, answer queries and inspect the quality of the work when the project is on site.

Experienced in interior design for leisure centres and cafés, our designers ensure the project aligns with the client’s needs and business ideals, developing an interior brand identity and creating a model that is commercially viable.

We consider everyone who will be using the space and ensure that it is designed to be more inclusive. We aim to create environmentally sustainable spaces that enhance wellbeing. Balancing aesthetics and comfort with the functionality of the space, including robustness of the finishes and furnishings means our designs withstand the day-to-day activities of the space for years to come.
