Letting instruction, The Quadrant, Abingdon Science Park: I am currently leading this letting instruction where we have enjoyed a considerable amount of early success. I have chosen this as a highlight however as we have been able to provide clear letting advice, implement our recommendations and see the results.

Acting on behalf of Addington Capital, Carter Jonas were retained as sole agents after the previous owner went into receivership.

The Quadrant Science Park is located South East of Abingdon, Oxfordshire and is a modern working environment with a series of terraced commercial units suitable for either office or lab occupiers.

The site contains a total of approximately 75,000 sqft of office and laboratory accommodation. The available accommodation comprises a modern working environment on an established Business Park close to Abingdon town Centre which offers a wide range of local amenities.

There were only 2 unit’s fully available totaling 4,700 sqft offering flexible accommodation. The remaining units were either let or under offer.
Carter Jonas’ role was to provide marketing advice, disposal strategies and asset management services in order to achieve a higher performance for the property as an asset for income producing purposes.

Due to the success of the site Carter Jonas have been able to improve the quoting rent from £15.50 psf to £16.50 psf led by recent letting activity.

Notable tenants include Fishawack, Tessella and Psioxis.
