Andrew is a Partner and is based in our Bristol office.
Charles is a Chartered Surveyor, RICS Registered Valuer and Head of the firm's Energy Team. He provides specialist advice on all manner of energy projects and associated infrastructure including: renewables, conventional oil and gas, shale gas, peak power generation and energy storage.Charles specifically advises landowners and developers on land referencing, site suitability, feasibility, technology selection and project delivery. He has specific expertise in site brokerage and negotiating option and lease, wayleave and access arrangements over sites for both landowners and developers. Charles also provides valuation and due diligence advice for secured lending, investment and agency purposes for renewable projects. Charles also advises private and institutional clients on all aspects of strategic rural, infrastructure and marine asset management.
John is a Partner with over 20 years experience in a wide range of professional areas. He is an RICS Registered Valuer with particular expertise in valuations of farms, estates and equestrian property for lending and taxation purposes including Expert Witness. He is an Agent and Valuer for the Agricultural Mortgage Company (AMC). John also specialises in agricultural landlord and tenant matters. He is based in the Winchester office and works throughout the south of England.
Kate is a qualified arbitrator and commercial surveyor who has lived and worked in Cambridge and the Eastern region for over thirty years specialising in the delivery of both lease consultancy and valuation services for clients.Kate provides: ? Experience in negotiating rent reviews, lease renewals and regears; the preparation of Expert reports for third party determination and Expert witness reports for Court; strategic leasehold advice to landlords and tenants.? Experience in Red Book valuations for secured lending, financial purposes, asset valuations and Charities Act valuations.
Marie is an Associate Partner in our Rural Team based in Taunton, who specialises in general rural professional work for a variety of clients. Marie carries out professional valuations of rural, agricultural, estate and residential properties and is an RICS registered valuer. She is also a valuer and agent for the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (AMC), providing advice on farm finance throughout the South West.
A Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Paul has been involved over the last 17 years in the acquisition, estate management and project delivery of telecommunications and broadcast infrastructure across the UK. After graduating from Harper Adams in 2001, Paul worked in private practice, acting for the major mobile telecommunications operators during the rollout of 3G sites and networks. For the last 11 years, Paul has held regional roles in both asset and estates management at Arqiva, delivering projects and strategic property advice through a period of unprecedented change in the telecommunications sector including the digital switchover of TV in the UK, operator network consolidation and the reform of the Electronic Communications Code. Paul is an RICS Registered Valuer, a Member of the Association of Project Management and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Real Estate and Property Management from the University of Salford. Paulina is a Chartered Surveyor with over 15 years’ experience in the residential sector in central London specialising in Leasehold Reform work. She represents both landlords and lessees advising mainly on valuations for lease extensions and collective enfranchisement. Her clients include a wide variety of high profile private and public sector landlords as well as lessees in the form of private individuals and groups as nominee purchasers, trustees, executors and others. She also acts as an expert witness in enfranchisement, valuation and landlord and tenant matters.
Richard is a Partner specialising in the valuation and professional consultancy on all types of residential property including development land. He has acted as an expert witness in various courts/tribunals. He also undertakes Building Surveys on mid-upper range country houses. He acts for Banks and other lenders, charities, private clients and public bodies.
RURAL LEISURE Concentrate in the buying and selling of holiday cottages, holiday let businesses and leisure businesses in the South West and across the UK. With over 20 years’ experience in the sector, a dedicated leisure department focuses in the valuation and selling of holiday cottage complexes, lodge parks, campsites, caravan parks and glamping businesses.
Steven Drennan is based in our Chapel Place office in London and is a Partner in the Rural team.

Tom has worked in the South West since 2004 and specialise in the valuation of agricultural, residential and renewable energy property. The valuations tend to be for secured lending, Inheritance and Capital Gains Tax, plus farm and estate purchase advice. He carries out both single and joint expert witness valuations for divorce and similar court proceedings. He is a RICS registered valuer. He advises landowners on development and leasing of solar farms, AD plants, biomass systems and wind turbines. Tom is also experienced in general rural estate management work including landlord and tenant matters, Basic Payment Scheme, plus Town & Country Planning matters relating to residential and rural properties, renewable energy projects, equestrian and other farm diversification projects, new tied farmhouses, representations to Local Plan reviews and similar.
