Our professionals project managed the scheme, which involved discharging the development’s planning obligations by entering an S278 agreement with the local authority.

At Mill Lane, the scope consisted of widening the existing road from 5.9m to 6.5m for approximately 0.4 of a mile, then extending a single lane to a double at the Shurdinton Road junction. Then project managing the installation of a new junction, including considering existing drainage, water, gas and electrical utility diversions, plus installation of drainage. We also oversaw the installation of a new electrical power line to feed the wider development, managing all the utility providers.

With regards to the sports pitches, the scope consisted of stripping back the existing heavily vegetated land and creating an attenuation pond, new purpose drainage for sports pitches, fencing and installing a MUGA and creating new allotment space. We also oversaw the installation of five new sports pitches to the Sports Federations specification.
