On the instructions of National Highways a concession agreement is offered for the right to operate a café / canteen facility belonging to the concessionaire from an area of ground within a picnic site and parking area adjacent to the A30 at Turks Head Picnic Site near Honiton, Devon. The designated location for the canteen is shown edged red on the plan on the front page of the particulars.

The agreement will be in the form of a business lease which will contracted out of sections 24-28 of the L&T Act 1954. No security will be granted beyond the fixed term. The term of agreement will be for 3 years.

National Highways maintains a policy of ensuring that a high standard of canteen facility is provided by concessionaries.

Applicants are expected to provide details information regarding the size, style and appearance of their proposed unit. The unit must be sensitive in colour in order to blend in with the environment and will need to be approved by National Highways.
