Carter Jonas are pleased to bring to market an opportunity to acquire the leasehold interest for a site with planning permission, a grid connection and feed-in tariff for a 100kW wind turbine development.

The site is currently agricultural land used for grazing. The surrounding land use is agricultural, the nearest buildings being the landowner’s
farmstead approximately 300m to the west, which comprises two agricultural buildings and a yard area.

The existing access track runs from the A485 past the farm buildings to the field.
The leasehold area is proposed to include land for the turbine and its swept path, the turbine base, a crane pad and transformer kiosk (if required), and the access track and cabling run to the point of
connection at the farmstead.

The Vendor has accepted and paid £25,719.88 including VAT for the grid connection for a 100kW wind turbine (92kVA export capacity).
The point of connection is the outgoing terminals of the existing low voltage cut-out at the Pen-y-Caerau farmstead adjacent to the A485.
The landowner could utilise a proportion of the electricity generated by the wind turbine development on site.

Preliminary accreditation has been granted by Ofgem, the ‘tariff date’ and ‘validity period’ for the application being 09 May 2018. The application assumes a Total Installed Capacity of 100kW, Declared Net Capacity of 99.9kW and does not specify a specific turbine type.

We will arrange access to a data site for approved and interested parties, which will be at the sole discretion of the Selling Agent and Vendor and subject to a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Please e-mail the Selling Agent to register.

• The planning application and submission documents
• The planning decision notice
• The grid connection offer
• The Ofgem preliminary accreditation application and submission documents
