Alison has a particular knowledge and understanding of the south west industrial markets along both the M4 & M5 corridors including East Hampshire, Swindon, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and the Somerset regions. Accordingly she has been instrumental in a number of significant industrial transactions in these areas.
Carter Jonas arranged the sale of Unit 31 Pen-Y-Fan Industrial Estate, Newport, to Your Car Spares Ltd. The client bought the 14,932 sq ft freehold unit from Macrolux UK Ltd for a quoting price of £475,000.
Unit 31 is a single-storey detached industrial unit, providing warehouse space, offices, and ancillary accommodation. The property had good parking allocation and a loading area to the front. The self-contained site also included an area of undeveloped land to the side of the property that could accommodate further expansion if required or an additional yard area.
Macrolux were looking for a purchaser who was able to move quickly and swiftly to avoid the building being left empty and unoccupied. Carter Jonas, who had knowledge of the markets, was able to identify a purchaser with immediate effect and the building was transacted within weeks of it being decommissioned.
