Two office suites at The Mansion House on Chesterford Research Park have been let by Carter Jonas taking the House up to full occupancy
Elliott Bauer, specialist executive search consultancy has taken the 75 sq m (802 sq ft) Suite 12 and existing tenant, Glassworks International Ltd – global manufacturer of high quality glass products for a range of consumer and commercial uses – has moved into the 81.22 sq m (874 sq ft) Suite 9. Both suites were offered to let on an all-inclusive package which includes rent, business rates, service and utilities charges.
The 18th Century Mansion House has been sympathetically refurbished to provide a series of office suites and is currently home to 11 tenants. Elliott Bauer join R&D companies such as Cellzome and Biotica – who also have single occupancy buildings elsewhere on the Park - and their arrival takes the Mansion house up to full occupancy.

Planning permission has been granted on the Science Village development, a low energy building which will allow for flexible use as R&D offices and/or laboratory suites. The occupancy options range from a single approximately 28,000 sq ft net internal area occupier to 16 individual suite occupiers - 8 at approximately 1,510 sq ft and 8 at approximately 1,965 sq ft.
Representing the ultimate in future proof design on a larger scale, the Robinson Laboratory, for which planning permission has also been granted, will provide two separate wings of laboratory space, linked by an elegant atrium designed to house an impressive reception area and a versatile range of meeting rooms. As always at Chesterford significant thought has also been given to the external finish of the building, with sympathetic landscaping of the immediate area adding to the overall aesthetic.
The joint venture partners remain keen to see construction getting under way in 2010.
