14 October 2013, Team Bath netball champions joined staff from Bath property consultants Carter Jonas at their city centre office to mark their role as the Superleague team’s official property partner.

Carter Jonas became backers of Britain’s most successful Superleague team during the 2013 season, when Team Bath won their fifth Superleague title from just eight campaigns.

The deal runs through the 2014 season, when the team will be looking to add a sixth title to their already impressive collection.

Carter Jonas’ distinctive logo will be displayed prominently on the team’s playing dresses and training tops throughout their forthcoming campaign.

Team Bath players and members of the coaching staff visited Carter Jonas’ Wood Street offices in the heart of the city to meet and chat informally to staff.

Philip Marshall, partner and head of the firm’s Bath office said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to support the hugely talented Team Bath netball squad. Their successes are impressive and their structure supports all levels from grass roots upwards.”

Jess Thirlby, Team Bath’s head netball coach, said: “We’re excited to have Carter Jonas as one of our backers and we’re extremely grateful for their continuing support. We’re looking forward to further developing our partnership as we move towards what we hope will be a successful 2014 Superleague campaign.”

The group of players visiting the office included four members of the England team that secured a three-nil series whitewash over South Africa in an international test series, including a 49-38 win in the opening fixture at the University of Bath.

They were England captain and shooter Pamela Cookey, defender Stacey Francis and midcourters Serena Guthrie and Mia Ritchie.

Team Bath claimed their fifth Superleague title in May with a 62-56 win over Celtic Dragons at the grand final in Worcester.

The 2014 Superleague is due to get underway in late January or early February.
